The “Secretary of Explaining Stuff” Lauds BrightSource Energy & Ivanpah Project

You know you’re on the right track when for­mer Pres­i­dent Bill Clin­ton and cur­rent “Sec­re­tary of Explain­ing Stuff” takes the stage to say how impressed he was with your technology.

That’s just what hap­pened dur­ing his Nation­al Clean Ener­gy Sum­mit 5.0 keynote address, where he detailed a recent trip out to the Ivan­pah solar project, of which Bright­Source (and a num­ber of part­ners) is a key component.

Clin­ton held Ivan­pah up as a shin­ing exam­ple of  “sus­tain­able eco­nom­ics,” dri­ven by those who “get it,” advo­cate clean ener­gy and will help renew­ables ini­tia­tives suc­ceed in Washington.
