Business Group Helps Marin Women Entrepreneurs Succeed – from the Marin Independent Journal

Now this looks like a fantastic way to spend a few hours with some smart women: The National Association of Women Business Owners, SF Bay Area has regular monthly events.

From the article — The Bay Area chapter of the association has been around for 21 years and holds a number of monthly events in the area, including a Marin networking breakfast forum that meets regularly on the fourth Tuesday of every month at Il Fornaio in Corte Madera.

The next one, called ”Women Trailblazers in the Wine Industry,” is set for Sept. 13 at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco.

We’re using women in the wine industry as examples of how women have been breaking the barriers and setting a rapid pace toward success in a male-dominated industry,”said Norma LaRosa, the group’s EVP and marketing chairwoman.

Cheers!
