Lisa Hagerman

Director of Programs

Lisa is the Direc­tor of Pro­grams at DBL Part­ners. Pre­vi­ously Lisa was Direc­tor of Pro­grams at DBL Investors, which she joined in 2011. Lisa is lead­ing the strat­egy and imple­men­ta­tion of dou­ble bot­tom line prac­tices work­ing with DBL’s port­fo­lio com­pa­nies across work­force devel­op­ment, envi­ron­men­tal stew­ard­ship, com­mu­nity engage­ment, and pub­lic pol­icy initiatives.

Lisa was pre­vi­ously the Direc­tor of More for Mis­sion at the Har­vard Kennedy School, a research and advo­cacy ini­tia­tive pro­mot­ing mis­sion invest­ing, in which she built a net­work of over 90 foun­da­tions rep­re­sent­ing over $38 bil­lion in total assets.  In May of 2012, More for Mis­sion merged with PRI Mak­ers to form Mis­sion Investors Exchange.  Prior to her role at More for Mis­sion, Lisa com­pleted her doc­tor­ate in eco­nomic geog­ra­phy at Oxford Uni­ver­sity on Pub­lic Pen­sion Fund Invest­ment in Urban Revi­tal­iza­tion, a project sup­ported by the Ford and Rock­e­feller Foun­da­tions. She was pre­vi­ously a Vice Pres­i­dent of Eco­nomic Inno­va­tion Inter­na­tional. In addi­tion, Lisa has ten years of bank­ing expe­ri­ence, three of which were with Wells Fargo Bank in Gov­ern­ment Rela­tions where she worked with the com­mu­nity devel­op­ment depart­ment and pro­moted the Bank’s minor­ity lend­ing ini­tia­tives. She worked at Citibank for seven years in the Latin Amer­i­can Mar­ket­ing Division.

Lisa holds a Vis­it­ing Research Asso­ciate posi­tion at Oxford Uni­ver­sity, School of Geog­ra­phy and the Envi­ron­ment. Lisa received her B.A. from Buck­nell Uni­ver­sity and her M.A. in polit­i­cal sci­ence from the Uni­ver­sity of North Car­olina at Chapel Hill.
